Grand Harvest Community Development is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and improving quality of life throughout South Sumter County and rural Central Florida.
Founded in 2018 by Pastor Eullas Brinson III, Grand Harvest began with a simple mission: to meet people where they are and provide practical support to those facing hardship. What started as care bags delivered to elderly neighbors in Webster, Florida, quickly revealed a much greater need within the community. Since then, Grand Harvest has grown into a trusted community resource serving individuals and families from all walks of life.
Today, Grand Harvest operates through four primary pillars:
We provide free food assistance to families experiencing food insecurity through regular food distributions, food recovery partnerships, and emergency assistance programs. Since our founding, we have distributed more than 950,000 pounds of food and are approaching the milestone of one million pounds distributed.
We believe every person deserves dignity. Through clothing distributions and hygiene assistance programs, we help individuals and families access basic necessities that improve health, confidence, and quality of life.
Transportation barriers often prevent people from accessing employment, healthcare, education, and other critical services. Grand Harvest works to identify transportation solutions and partnerships that help connect individuals to opportunities and resources.
Stable housing is the foundation for long-term success. We are committed to exploring innovative housing solutions and supportive services that help individuals and families move toward greater stability and self-sufficiency.
Through the dedication of volunteers, community partners, donors, and supporters, Grand Harvest continues to make a lasting impact throughout the region. We are proud to partner with organizations such as Feeding Tampa Bay and work alongside local churches, businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our neighbors.
Our vision is simple:
To provide hope, dignity, and practical assistance while building stronger families and stronger communities.
Together, we are feeding families, building capacity, and strengthening communities.
